Stijn Terpstra (b. 2000) visual artist, based in Breda, The
Netherlands.
My practice combines a theoretical and socially engaged working method. Within image-based
projects I challenge assumptions about the applications of technology and how it’s
used to further understand and manage the world around us. I question the
insinuated uniformity claimed by digital thought and examine our changing
relationship with nature. The combination of constructed and documentary
photography creates a reality that
invites uncertainty and
interpretation. In doing so, I simultaneously explore photography as a means of
representation and experiment with broadening the viewers perception
